2. Booking & Service Agreements

All catering services require a signed service agreement and deposit to secure an event date.

Event dates are not guaranteed until:

A written agreement is executed

A deposit is received and confirmed

Final guest counts, menu selections, and service details must be confirmed within the timeframe specified in the client’s service agreement.

3. Payments & Deposits

Deposits are required to secure event dates.

Deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

Final payment timelines will be outlined in the service contract.

Failure to remit payment by the agreed-upon deadline may result in cancellation of services.

4. Food Preparation & Liability

Suggarplums Catering prepares food in accordance with applicable New York State and local health regulations.

Clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate guest counts

Informing Suggarplums of known food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance

Suggarplums Catering is not liable for:

Undisclosed allergies

Food consumed beyond recommended serving time

Improper storage of food once transferred to the client or venue

5. Event Conditions

Clients are responsible for:

Venue access

Required permits (if applicable)

Adequate space for setup and service

Compliance with local event regulations

Suggarplums reserves the right to modify or cancel services due to unsafe conditions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, menu descriptions, branding, photographs, and written materials — is the intellectual property of Suggarplums Catering and may not be reproduced without written consent.
